To adjust your notification settings and unsubscribe from the newsletter, do the following:

1. Sign in to the platform

2. Click on your name at the top right of the menu and select “Settings.”
3. Go to “Notifications.”
4. Under “I want to be notified when...”, you can set when you want to receive notifications from the platform. Here you can select which activities should notify you. When there is a notification, the bell icon at the top right of the menu turns yellow. If you click on it, you can view the notifications.
5. For email notifications: If you enable this option, you'll also receive an email every time you receive a notification. Otherwise, you'll only receive email notifications when someone wants to contact you, or when a change has been made to a platform feature that directly affects you (for example, when your submitted idea has received an official response
).
6. For the newsletter: If you want to subscribe to the newsletter to stay up to date with news about the e-participation platform, you can activate this option. Otherwise, you can deactivate them to unsubscribe from the newsletter.
7. To receive direct messages from all users, enable the “Receive direct messages from everyone” option. This allows all platform users to write to you using the conversation function. Otherwise, only those users you follow can write to you. You can follow users by clicking “Follow” on the respective profile.
8. After adjusting the settings, don't forget to click “Save Changes” to apply the changes.
