What does the platform store about me?
The platform stores two types of data:
- Personal data: This data includes your personal information, such as your email address or password. This data is stored in encrypted form and passwords are never visible from outside .
All platform data is stored by web provider Hetzner on its own servers in XX. For more information on how data is used, please see the Privacy Policy.
You can see what data the platform stores about you at any time by exporting all of your generated content. This allows you to download all information related to your activity on the platform, such as your comments and publications. Your profile information, such as your password, is stored in encrypted form and cannot be downloaded.
Data that is automatically transferred when you connect to the platform (such as IP address, MAC address, or cookie settings) cannot be downloaded. For more information about this data, please see the Privacy Policy.
Procedure:
- Sign in to the platform.
- In the top-right menu, click on your name and select “Settings.”
- Click on “My details.”
- Click “Request data.”
- The platform will confirm that you have sent the email.
- When you receive it, open the email attachment.
- The associated .zip file is heavily encrypted and can only be opened with open source unpacking software, such as 7-Zip (for Windows), Keka (for macOS) or PeaZip (for Linux). Enter the password included in the email to open the file.
