In Grätzl Wolfganggasse, the much-awaited “Gleisgarten” - Vienna's first food hall - has now opened in the Badner Bahn coach house, which is characteristic of Grätzl. The historic brick coach house from 1907 is the ideal venue for this new meeting place in the neighborhood. It should be a place to relax, with lots of wood and lush plants, including palm trees. In the “Gleisgarten”, guests will find an impressive variety of culinary delights, from Greek, Moroccan, Asian to Italian cuisine and craft beer. The food is ordered from various stands and enjoyed at cozy wooden tables in the middle of the hall. There are also three stages for concerts and events. The Gleisgarten is planning long-term events, cultural programs and workshops to become a new meeting place in the neighborhood. The founders of the project, Felix Bollen, Anton Borkmann, Michele Tieghi and Andrea Ferrario, met in London and brought experience from the brewing industry. On site, they run the Vienna Craft Brewery. Payments are only made cashless
